It’s the first roundup of 2020, and I’ve decided to add a new section to these favorites posts. For all you dog parents out there, Pickles is going to get her own section at the end where I’ll share a few of her faves. Just fully embracing the psycho dog mom that I’ve become since adopting her. 😉
My mom gave me this for Christmas after it helped her stave off a cold. Garlic is a powerful antiviral, and while it’s not necessarily going to prevent you from getting sick, it’s supposed to help lessen symptoms and shorten the duration of a bug. Early this month I woke up with a sore throat and thought, “Shit, I’m getting sick.” I immediately started taking this odorless garlic twice a day (in addition to my multi and drinking tons of water), and my symptoms never got worse! Mild sore throat for a couple days then gone.
I’m obviously not a doctor, so recommending this purely on my own positive experience with it. You should always do your own research to decide what’s best for you. But this supplement is going to be my new go-to for cold & flu season, and I had to share!
